Circular basket boats provide unique tour in Nha Trang

Twenty-eight oarswomen in Mieu Islet near Nha Trang offer a basket boat tour of their local fishing village. The women have taught themselves to invite foreign tourists aboard in English, and some can tell short anecdotes about their village’s fisheries and shrimp farms. Tourists will be fascinated by both the local colour and the unique ride provided by the circular basket boats.
