Sa Pa in spring time

 

Orchids blossom in spring time in Sa Pa.

For a special spring time holiday destination, head to Tay Bac Highland, and especially Sa Pa. Visitors will be amazed by the orchids, which blossom at this time, the beauty of nature and the many festivals held in the area welcoming the Lunar New Year.

Even in the cold weather, the young tribal people of Sa Pa make visitors feel unforgettably warm with their radiant smiles. During spring time, the fragrance of flowers, the colours of ethnic fabric of H’mong, Dao or Thai women, and the sounds of flutes and the leaf-horn of the village’s young men and women leave a strong impression of Sa Pa on every visitor.

To visit Sa Pa during spring time, tourists may book the “Sa Pa – the beauty of the Highland” tour through Saigontourist. Tourists will be picked up and taken to Tan Son Nhat Airport to fly to Hanoi. In Hanoi, tourists will be arranged their hotel rooms and visit well-known destinations such as Tran Quoc Pagoda, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Old Royal University), and some famous districts of Hanoi.

On the second day, the tour heads to Ninh Binh, where tourists can visit the Temple of the Kings in Le and Dinh Dynasties and Tam Coc – Bich Dong. On the third day, the tour goes to Ha Long Bay, Yen Tu Mountain, and Hoa Vien Pagoda by cable car. Reaching Ha Long Bay, tourists will visit Tuan Chau Island and Ha Long Bay by boat, and visit Thien Cung Cavern, Dau Go Cave. Then tourists return to Hanoi to catch a train to Lao Cai Province, where they will go by bus to Sa Pa. While in Sa Pa, tourists will visit Bac Falls and Cat Cat Village, and explore love market at night in Sa Pa.

Before saying goodbye to Sa Pa, tourists can visit Ham Rong Mountain and the ethnic village Ta Phin to explore the culture of the Red Dao People. Returning to Hanoi, tourists will have time to visit Uncle Ho’s tomb and his house on stilts, One-Pillar Pagoda, Ngoc Son Temple and Dong Xuan Market. The seven day, six night tour costs VND 4,115,000 per person excluding air-plane ticket fee.

Global Holidays also offer a six day, five night Hanoi-Ha Long-Tuan Chau-Sa Pa-Ha Khau tour. The main destinations in Hanoi are Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and West Lake. Tourists will have a chance to visit Dong Ba Market and enjoy food specialties such as La Vong fried fish or West Lake shrimp cake. In Ha Long Bay, tourist will visit Thien Cung Cavern, Dau Go Cave by boat.

Then, in Sa Pa, tourists will try to conquer Ham Rong Mountain, the Heaven Gate, to have an overview of Sa Pa in the mist from above as well as visiting Rock Cathedral and Sa Pa love market, which is open on Saturday nights. Following this tour, tourists may also go to China to shop at Ha Khau Market and have lunch at a Chinese restaurant. (SGT)
